OUx Research and Design Strategy
OUx blends creativity and consulting to help shape the future for the world’s most ambitious organizations and communities
OUx Extends OFFICEUNTITLED
As an extension of OFFICEUNTITLED, OUx addresses new challenges and explores unfamiliar territory. Therefore, the studio can develop new partnerships and move beyond traditional architectural boundaries.
Beyond traditional architecture, projects may include brand guides, art pavilions, or visions for the future of work. However, every collaboration begins with the same objective.
Ultimately, we seek long-term solutions that create a greater impact today. Moreover, experience-focused design connects bold ideas with the people they serve.
Four Areas of Focus
Thinkfluence
Thinkfluence combines strategic thinking with design expertise. As a result, organizations can identify opportunities and inspire action.
First, research and collaboration clarify complex questions. Then, those insights become focused strategies for innovation.
Guidance
Through Guidance, shared ideas become practical tools. For instance, OUx creates design playbooks, action plans, and brand frameworks.
Consequently, organizations can navigate change with greater clarity. In addition, the collaborative process builds alignment among stakeholders.
Applied Research
Applied Research connects inquiry with meaningful exploration. Moreover, internal studies and external partnerships introduce diverse perspectives.
In this way, research becomes a tool for transformation. Ultimately, it reveals opportunities and supports informed decisions.
Spectaculars
Experiential design shapes the Spectaculars category. Specifically, this work includes exhibits, installations, pavilions, and pop-ups.
Through participation, each project creates a memorable encounter. Furthermore, the work allows the team to test ideas at full scale.
We Believe in the Power of the Unknown
Beginning with Observation
Every project begins with humble observation. First, the team studies how people experience a place, organization, or challenge.
From this process, previously hidden needs begin to emerge. Therefore, human insight comes before design. At the same time, each question receives consideration from several perspectives. In turn, those perspectives help collaborators reconsider familiar problems.
Defining the Challenge
Next, observations come together around a clear challenge. As a result, every participant gains a shared point of focus.
Meanwhile, research identifies patterns, opportunities, and potential barriers. Consequently, the project develops a stronger foundation.
Clear definitions do not limit exploration. On the contrary, they direct creative energy toward the issues that matter most.
Moving from Insight to Action
After defining the challenge, OUx leads collaborative ideation. Together, participants test possibilities and develop a shared direction.
From there, a clear and resilient vision begins to emerge. Consequently, creative ambition connects with practical priorities.
Finally, the vision becomes a set of actionable solutions. As a result, organizations can move forward with purpose and confidence.
