Moreno Wins Chicago Athenaeum
2025 American Architecture Award
Moreno has been recognized in the Private Residence category of the 2025 American Architecture Awards, a leading international awards program presented by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, in collaboration with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The awards celebrate the most significant built works realized around the world and are regarded as a benchmark for contemporary architectural excellence.
Established to honor innovation, design quality, and contribution to the built environment, the American Architecture Awards bring together an international jury of architects, designers, critics, and academics. Each year, the program highlights projects that advance architectural thinking while responding thoughtfully to cultural, social, and environmental contexts across a broad range of typologies.
Moreno was selected in the Private Residence category for its clarity of design and careful integration of architecture and landscape. The project reflects OFFICEUNTITLED’s ongoing interest in restraint, spatial sequencing, and the role of outdoor space as an essential component of daily living.
We are honored to be included among this year’s award recipients and to see Moreno recognized within a program that celebrates architectural rigor and enduring design values.
